Rates are set by ZeroTow and can change. The booking screen always shows the current price before your card is held.
How the price is worked out
- A flat hook fee for every tow, plus a charge for each mile of the driving route from pickup to drop-off.
- Long tows get cheaper per mile: after the first stretch, each further stretch costs less per mile, down to a floor.
- Short tows have a minimum charge, because any tow takes a truck off the road for the best part of an hour.
- Emergency requests, when you need priority, cost more. Florida sales tax is added to the total.
- Your card is held when you book, not charged. The charge goes through after the vehicle is delivered and you confirm.
Tow price questions
How much does a tow cost in Miami?
It depends on the driving distance from pickup to drop-off. A ZeroTow tow is a flat hook fee plus a per-mile charge that gets cheaper per mile on longer trips, with a minimum charge for short tows. Enter both addresses on this page to see the exact price.
Is the price on this page the price I pay?
It's worked out exactly the way the app does it, from today's rates. Before your card is held, the booking screen shows the final price, and that's what you pay. If the pickup or drop-off changes, the distance and the price change with it.
Are there extra fees when the truck arrives?
No. There are no surprise charges at the curb. The price you approve when you book is the price you pay. Tips are optional and go to the driver.
Why is the price per mile lower on long tows?
ZeroTow charges in distance bands: the first miles cost the full rate, and each later band costs less per mile, down to a floor. A long tow costs less per mile than a short one.
What does an emergency tow cost?
Emergency requests get priority and cost a set percentage more than a standard tow. The calculator shows both prices so you can choose.
Is there a fee to cancel?
Cancelling is free until a driver accepts. After a driver has accepted, cancelling costs the hook fee, which goes to that driver.
