How to keep a tow affordable (with any company)

  • Get the full price before the truck is sent. Ask for the all-in number, not just the hook-up fee: mileage, after-hours, wait time and extras are where bills grow.
  • Check whether you're already covered. Many car insurance policies, credit cards, auto clubs and new-car warranties include free or discounted towing. Look before you pay.
  • Keep the distance short when you can. Towing to a shop close to the car costs less than a long trip.
  • Plan it if you can. A tow that isn't an emergency doesn't need the emergency option, which costs more. ZeroTow lets you schedule a tow up to 7 days ahead.
  • Compare two quotes if the car isn't in a dangerous spot. If it is, safety comes first.

How ZeroTow prices a tow

A ZeroTow tow is a flat hook fee plus a per-mile charge, and the per-mile rate gets lower on longer trips. Every tow has a short minimum distance, and emergency requests cost more. Enter your pickup and drop-off in the price checker to see today's exact price. We don't print rates on this page because they can change, and the checker always shows the current ones.

No surprises at the curb

The total shown before you confirm is the total you pay, plus any tip you choose to add. Our Terms say ZeroTow doesn't add after-hours, weekend, wait-time or fuel charges to a quoted tow. Tows over 70 miles aren't priced by the app: they're quoted by phone before anything is dispatched.

Pay after the car is delivered

When you book, your card is held for the quoted price, not charged. The charge goes through after your car is delivered and you confirm. Cancelling is free until a driver accepts your request.

How a ZeroTow tow works

  1. Book and see the priceUse the app or zerotow.com. Drop a pin where you are, choose where the car goes, and see the full price before you confirm.
  2. The nearest drivers get itYour request goes to every available ZeroTow driver near you at once. The first to accept heads your way, and you watch the truck on the map.
  3. Photos before the hookThe driver photographs your vehicle from every side and you sign off before it's loaded, so its condition is on record.
  4. Pay after deliveryYour card is held when you book, not charged. The charge goes through after the vehicle is delivered and you confirm.

Questions

How much does a cheap tow cost in Miami?

A ZeroTow tow is a flat hook fee plus a per-mile charge, and the per-mile rate gets lower on longer trips. Every tow has a short minimum distance, and emergency requests cost more. Because rates can change, the price checker shows today's exact price for your pickup and drop-off before you book.

Is ZeroTow the cheapest tow truck in Miami?

We don't claim to be the cheapest for every tow, because prices differ by distance, time and company. What we do is show you the full price up front so you can decide, with no phone haggling and no added fees after you confirm.

Will the price change after I book?

The total shown before you confirm is the total you pay, plus any tip you add. The only exception is a cancellation fee if you cancel after a driver has accepted. If a job can't be done as quoted, for example the car isn't where you said, you're shown a revised price to accept or decline before any more work is done.

Does my insurance or credit card cover towing?

Often, yes. Many auto insurance policies, credit cards, auto clubs and new-car warranties include roadside towing, sometimes with a distance limit. Check your policy or call the number on your card before you pay.

Is a scheduled tow cheaper than an emergency tow?

Emergency requests cost more, so a tow you plan ahead, such as taking a car to a shop, doesn't need the emergency option. You can schedule a ZeroTow up to 7 days ahead. Use the price checker to compare.
